My Story
My Story
My name is Xavier, a product designer based in Amsterdam. I’ve been drawn to technology and digital interfaces for as long as I can remember, long before it became my profession.
At around fourteen, I was already installing iOS beta versions, exploring new interfaces and features simply because I wanted to understand how things worked and how they could feel better. That curiosity for digital products never left. What started as exploration gradually turned into a clear direction.
I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Multimedia Design at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, followed by a Master’s degree in Data-Driven Design at the Hogeschool Utrecht. Along the way, my focus naturally shifted towards product design and user experience. I’m driven by one central question: how do users think, and how can digital products better align with that thinking?
I'm interested in working on projects where complex information needs to be translated into clear user experiences.
I enjoy working in co-creation, collaborating closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders. Iteration, feedback, and agile ways of working such as SCRUM are a natural part of my process.
At the end of the day, I aim to create interfaces that actually make sense, not only visually, but also in the way users experience and understand them.
